Executive Chef Seth Levine is the Executive Chef at Profundo Pool Club at The Ravel Hotel. After appearing on Fox’s hit reality tv show, “Hell’s Kitchen: Season 5,” Chef Seth Levine has been taking the culinary world by storm - a dream he has had since childhood – and he has built quite an impressive resume since leaving the show in 2007. In 2009, Levine opened his first restaurant and became the executive chef at Georgica in East Hampton. Later that year he also took on the role at Wine and Roses on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Levine currently presides over five other restaurants including Hotel Chantelle (lower east side) and Penthouse808 Asian Bistro (Long Island City), The Regal (Williamsburg) as well as Estate Garden & Grill (at The Ravel Hotel) Levine admits that his passion for food started from a very early age. “I have to believe it is something i was born loving. I was intrigued at such a young age, not only by the actual ingredient but the creation ofa dish: the art of plating. I found myself watching every cooking show from “Yan Can Cook” to “Julia Child” and my favorite - “Great Chefs of the World,” can also thank my parents for allowing me to make a mess in the kitchen.
